There is no doubt about it that the Georgetown Real Estate Market has been HOT for the past two years.  It's good news if you're a Seller, maybe not so much for Buyers.This past month we have started to see a slight shift.  Listings with higher prices are sitting on the market longer and may even have price changes.  Buyers, have hope that your home is still out there and you can afford to get into the market.  We are seeing this across the GTA.  Simply ask your agents to pull the listings in the specific areas you have been searching to see if there is anything that didn't sell on offer date.  It is so worth it for your agent to have a conversation with the listing agent.  We are also seeing higher inventory numbers in Georgetown which is another positive sign.  It's the old "supply and demand" rule.  

If you are a home owner considering a move, make sure to check out the current activity in the areas you are looking in.  You could be pleasantly surprised to find a few homes that haven't sold on offer date and they too may have price changes.
